“One year ago today the Chosen Army was reviled to the valley. Since then we have made great headway against the enemy. Today we stopped to celebrate. Celebrate the one year anniversary of the chosen army, and one of our greatest victories. The battle on the plains of Tarkin are over we have won. It dragged on for nearly four months, we lost many good people, too many. But the enemy was vanquished and ran off like the scared little dogs they are. The tide of this war is about to change, and in this case change is good.” The crowd roared as Jacob finished his short speech to the Chosen. They had fought long and hard. The last push on the enemy took a lot out of The Chosen, it was worth it to cause the enemy to run in fear like they did no one had seen that in a long time. Jacob stepped down from the small podium, and joined his fellow soldiers for the celebration it was time to relax , they all needed some good R N R.
We finished the battle on the north edge of the Plains of Tarkin once the enemy ran into the ridge of mountains to the north we stopped our pursuit and let them run. Once the celebration was over we'll rest, sleep the night and start the painful process of giving our dead a proper burial. Tomorrow would be a dark day but but there is no way we can avoid it.

Where it all started
Every Thing on this blog is going to based off of this song by the Newsboys. It is the title track off the album thrive. If there is any one that remembers a story I wrought in high school this is a remake and continuation of that story.
Every shadow you see
Has its own story
Down here in the valley
Every puddle of mud
Comes from tears and blood
And it's so hard just to get warm
That the chill turns into despair
Will you lift me up with tender care?
Will you wash me clean in the palm of
your hands?
Will you hold me close so I can thrive?
When you touch me, that's when I know
I'm alive
Down here in the valley
Nothing's able to grow
'Cause the light's too low
Folks spend their days
Digging 'round for diamonds and gold
'Til they just get old
And they don't know anything else
They don't know they're breathing bad air
But I'm tired of living like this
And my soul cries out, "If you're there..."
Call me up to your side
Draw me up to your light
Let it bind me
Lord, refine me
Refine me out of my mind
